Dr Marjory Foyle's Australian tour.
Dr Marjory Foyle addressed meetings in Sydney, Melbourne, Alice Springs and Adelaide during June 2009.
Marjory went initially to India as a doctor to women, and to Nepal to open a new hospital. After studying psychiatry she returned to India where she ultimately became head of a a psychiatric hospital. Retiring at 60, and very aware of God's leading, she began to research the problems of missionaries and mission administrators by travelling the world for several years. This resulted in a second doctorate from London University, followed by the writing, in non-medical language, of 'Honourably Wounded'. This book is about some of the problems missionaries and their leaders experience. She later wrote her autobiography, 'Can it be Me?'.
